每逢这种“外国节日”,外企打工人的灵魂三问又来了:

感恩节
要不要给客户发节日问候?
感恩节在美国和加拿大的重要程度,相当于我们的春节——是家人团聚、共享盛宴的日子。但需要注意的是,英国、法国等大多数欧洲国家并不过感恩节,因此发送祝福时,要讲究“因人而异”。
如果你的客户来自美国,那节日问候基本属于“刚需”。一封真诚的邮件,会让他们觉得你懂文化、有礼貌、值得信赖,还能悄悄加分合作关系。

而对于加拿大客户,千万不要搞错时间!他们的感恩节是在每年10月的第二个星期一,比美国早一个多月。
至于其他国家的客户,则不建议直接说“Happy Thanksgiving”。你可以借这个契机,单纯表达感谢、合作愉快、期待继续合作等,更显稳妥和专业。

什么时候发比较合适?
美国客户:最佳时间是 美国当地周三或周四上午,因为大家周四下午开始度假。
加拿大客户:可以提前一周发,注意语气中性。
英国、亚洲、欧洲客户:可提前一周或节日前几天发,重点是表达感谢而非节日。
长期联系客户/潜在客户:提前 3-5 天发送,给对方留下专业的印象即可。
总结一句话:节日前发送邮件最稳妥,既显示你有心,又不会打扰客户度假。
