I　was　born　in　Britain　in　1955,　then　in　1970　my　family　moved　to　Australia　where　I　lived　most　of　my　life.　So　I　have　a　British/Australian　Accent.　In　Australia　I　obtained　a　Bachelor　of　Commerce　with　a　major　in　Accounting.　Before　I　became　an　ESL　teacher　I　had　the　position　of　Financial　Controller　with　an　international　company　based　in　Germany.
I　have　always　preferred　words　to　numbers　and　I　am　passionate　about　movies　and　so　pursued　courses　in　writing　for　the　screen,　directing　actors　and　film　making　in　general　where　I　came　top　of　the　class.　I　had　a　chance　to　make　a　few　short　films　during　this　time.
I　completed　a　certificate　in　TESOL　before　taking　my　job　with　WEB　in　Shenyang　in　2009　and　I　am　currently　studying　for　a　diploma　in　TESOL.　I　like　China　and　hope　to　live　here　as　long　as　possible!!
